Reporting to the Product Marketing Director, this is a highly cross-functional role working with product, marketing, sales, strategy and enablement to create and implement targeted go-to-market strategies that increase market share, retention and client value.
We’re looking for someone who goes beyond the basics of segmentation, positioning, collateral creation and sales support to shape how a product is brought to market and how its story is told.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy and Positioning
o Develop deep knowledge of programmes, client and learner needs, and market/competitor landscape.
o Build and execute go-to-market, cross-sell and upsell strategies for programme launches and continuous improvement.
o Create messaging frameworks to articulate product value propositions for different segments and differentiate from competitors.
o Develop quarterly product marketing plans aligned to business goals.
o Identify research opportunities and incorporate insights into messaging and strategy.
o Share insights to support sales conversations and product positioning.
* Product Assets & Materials
o Develop messaging frameworks and guide marketing managers to produce impactful content.
o Provide sales enablement tools: training materials, collateral, product guides, web content, case studies, launch decks, playbooks and battlecards.
o Feed market insights into materials to drive pipeline and retention.
o Lead the Product Marketing effort for the Sales Enablement platform (Seismic).
o Manage assets to ensure accuracy and prevent duplication; gather feedback to identify gaps.
o Advance buyer personas with Research colleagues and align messaging with buyer journeys across the lifecycle.
* Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
o Collaborate with Product, Marketing, Sales, Enablement and Strategy to develop GTM strategy, positioning and messaging.
o Participate in multi-functional meetings and events, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
* Performance Tracking & Optimisation
o Track relevant metrics and KPIs to assess success of product marketing initiatives.
o Use data-driven insights to optimise strategies and tactics; solicit ongoing feedback from GTM colleagues.
o Ensure product marketing activity aligns with wider marketing and company objectives.
Experience and Skills:
* 3-5+ years of product marketing experience (B2B preferred) with a proven track record in high-growth environments.
* Experience in product positioning, value proposition development, messaging frameworks, and competitive landscape mapping.
* Proficiency in creating product-focused content (internal guides, talk tracks, product webpage guidance).
* Strong strategic thinker with the ability to execute plans effectively; collaborative and agile.
* Commercial acumen with the ability to drive results; excellent copywriting and stakeholder management skills.
* Experience marketing to enterprise prospects and building buyer personas.
About You:
* Enthusiastic self-starter who owns and implements plans.
* Inclusive, collaborative, adaptable to change.
* High standards of integrity, professionalism and accountability.
