Overview

21 hours per week, term time only. Monday 12.15pm-3.15pm, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8.45am-3.15pm. Hunnyhill Primary School, Forest Road, Newport, Isle of Wight PO30 5SH.


Responsibilities

* Support in providing a safe and stimulating environment for all children.
* Encourage the children to take part in all activities, listen to children and assist them when needed.
* Promote positive behaviour by positive encouragement, praise and role modelling.
* Be caring, kind, reliable and willing to get involved, working in a small team to provide the best possible childcare for all children in the setting.


Qualifications and experience

* Educated to GCSE level standard or equivalent with passes in English and Maths at Grade C or above.
* Minimum of level 3 in Early Years and at least 2 years’ experience of working in an early year setting.
* Ideally hold a current paediatric first aid qualification or be willing to attend the necessary training to obtain one.
