Electrician – Cardiff -Day & Night Shifts | Stable, Single-Site Role | Up to £46,000\n\nLocation: Cardiff (Single Site – Educational Campus)\nSalary: Up to £46,000 per annum (inclusive of shift allowance)\nShifts: Rotating Day & Night Shifts\nType: Full-Time, Permanent\n\nWe’re looking for a qualified and reliable Electrician to join the on-site maintenance team at a large, well-known educational facility in Cardiff. This is a static role (no travel required) and involves working rotating day and night shifts, ensuring the site remains safe, compliant, and fully operational at all times.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance\n\n * \n\n Diagnose and repair faults across a range of electrical systems\n\n * \n\n Support compliance testing (emergency lighting, fire alarms, etc.)\n\n * \n\n Work closely with the site facilities team and respond to urgent requests\n\n * \n\n Maintain accurate service records and reports\n\n * \n\n Ensure safe working practices are followed at all times\n\nWhat We’re Looking For:\n\n * \n\n NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent\n\n * \n\n 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)\n\n * \n\n Testing & Inspection (2391 or equivalent) – desirable\n\n * \n\n Experience in a commercial or education environment preferred\n\n * \n\n Comfortable working day and night shift patterns\n\n * \n\n Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and a proactive attitude\n\nWhat’s in It for You:\n\n * \n\n Salary up to £46,000 (including shift allowance)\n\n * \n\n Permanent, full-time position on a single, secure site\n\n * \n\n Overtime available\n\n * \n\n Tools, uniform, and PPE provided\n\n * \n\n Training and career development opportunities\n\n * \n\n 25 days holiday + bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Pension and employee benefits package\n\nReady to take on a stable, rewarding role supporting a major educational site?\nApply now
