Join Our Team as a Supervising Social Worker!
Base Location: Stonehouse
Hours: 17.5 hours per week (2.5 days per week)
Working Pattern:
* Wednesday: 9am - 12:30pm
* Thursday & Friday: 9am - 5pm
Salary: £37,000 prorated

Your Role
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Social Worker who is enthusiastic and committed to the role of foster parents. You will play a vital part in:
* Collaborating with foster parents to ensure meaningful supervision of placements.
* Maintaining high standards through quality assurance and training for foster parents.
* Writing excellent reports and meeting strict deadlines.
What We’re Looking For
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
* A Social Care England recognized qualification in Social Work or equivalent.
* Previous experience in children and families social work.
* A comprehensive understanding of relevant legislation in children's services.
* Good IT skills and the ability to be flexible with your working pattern and travel.
* A full driving license and access to your own car.
Your Responsibilities
* Provide direct support to foster parents with a manageable caseload for effective supervision.
* Conduct regular supervision sessions, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
* Collaborate with children, young people, foster parents, and other professionals to facilitate participation in assessments and decision-making related to safeguarding and child protection.
As part of our commitment to safeguarding, the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS Check, which we will cover.
