Salary: £26,000 - 30,000 per year Requirements: Proven experience in 1st and 2nd Line support role Strong knowledge of hardware, networking, and basic AV equipment Hands-on experience with AD, MS365, Intune, and Autopilot Experience in using and troubleshooting Active Directory (on-prem) and Entra-ID / Azure AD Knowledge of endpoint security, compliance policies, and remote management Strong attention to detail and a process-driven mindset Excellent communication and customer service skills Desirable: IT-related certifications (Microsoft, CompTIA, ITIL, Cisco) Responsibilities: Provide level 1 & 2 technical support to all school users across both sites in Clapham Meet and greet walk-in visitors to the IT office and provide support as needed Attend classrooms and offices to resolve issues Respond to tickets and tasks assigned by the IT Manager within the agreed SLAs Operate, install, update, and work with equipment such as smartboards, external storage devices, computer diagnostic tools, and printers Work in compliance with school and GDPR policies to maintain confidential information Support the design, installation, and configuration of software and hardware across the school network Ensure there is stock of day-to-day items and maintain a clean and clear office Support routine maintenance of computer/network systems for stable and efficient operations Support vendor diagnostic tests to identify and resolve faults Carry out hardware repairs or replacements of IT devices including mobile devices, desktops, and laptops Accurately record asset movements (IMACs) on the asset management tracking system Train users on new systems by performing technical demonstrations Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system Support major IT issues or upgrades outside of normal school hours Act as a technical advocate within the school to promote efficient and productive systems Assist in the migration and implementation of new IT systems Assist the theatre technician with A/V and IT support as required Technologies: Active Directory Azure Cisco Hardware Support ITIL Mobile Network Security Cloud More: We are based in Clapham, SW London, and are looking for a pragmatic and enthusiastic IT Support Technician to support our IT Manager.
