Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting for a Design & Technology Teacher to join a successful secondary school in St Helens from September until Christmas 2026.

The Design & Technology department is well-resourced and plays an important role within the wider curriculum.
The successful candidate will specialise in Resistant Materials and Product Design, teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4.
The successful applicant will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Design & Technology
Specialise in Resistant Materials and Product Design
Be confident delivering practical lessons safely and effectively
Be committed to high-quality teaching and learningThe role offers:
September 2026 start
Fixed-term until Christmas 2026
Pay between £168.80 and £232.56 per day, depending on experience and scale point
