Social Work Team Manager – Children With Disabilities
Social Work Team Manager within Children With Disabilities in Lambeth, earning £45.20 per hour on a Full-time ongoing contract, is now available for motivated professionals looking to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives. Responsibilities
 * Manage the caseloads of six social workers and ensure high-quality recording by workers.
 * Promote and quality assure the standard of recording via the supervision process.
 * Meet the professional development needs of all staff through regular supervision and reviews, consistent with the Council’s policy, and ensure accurate recording and communication.
 * Support mentoring and coaching initiatives to enhance the quality of practice.
 * Attend various meetings to ensure that care planning and decisions are made in the child’s best interests, including childcare reviews, child protection conferences, and legal planning meetings.
 * Collaborate with staff to implement quality standards and procedures for continuous improvement in service delivery.
 * Quality assure multiple reports, including CPR, Lac review reports, court reports, and more.
 * Liaise with the Service Manager and Assistant Director on high profile or complex cases, unallocated work, and team performance issues.
 * Attend Scrutiny Panel sessions to discuss team performance and strategize on service improvements.
 * Lead, motivate, and nurture direct reports and multi-agency professionals, ensuring effective services that deliver positive outcomes.
Requirements
 * Degree or equivalent in social work with current Social Work England registration.
 * Recent managerial experience, such as working as a Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager within Children’s Services.
 * Significant frontline experience in Children’s Services as a Team Manager.
