At My Support My Way, we provide safe and supportive accommodation for care leavers aged 16–25. We're looking for a dedicated Wake Night Support Worker to join our team and help ensure young people feel safe, supported, and reassured overnight.
About the role
As a Wake Night Support Worker, you will be a vital part of our service, providing stability and supervision throughout the night. Your responsibilities will include:
* Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of young people during the night
* Staying awake, alert, and observant in case support is needed
* Responding calmly and effectively to emergencies or incidents
* Carrying out regular building checks, fire safety checks, and risk assessments
* Offering support and reassurance to any young person who is awake or in distress
* Maintaining accurate nightly logs, reports, and handovers for day staff
* Supporting with light household tasks to keep the home safe and comfortable

* A reliable and responsible individual who can work independently overnight
* Strong communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
* Empathy, patience, and a professional approach when supporting young people
* Resilience and commitment to safeguarding practices
* Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and bank holidays
