To support our Global Services and Solutions team, which builds outstanding Value-Added Fulfilment and Circular Economy supply chain solutions, we are seeking a Director of Business Development. The role is preferably based near one of our GSS locations in Europe but can also be remote.

Reporting to the Sr Director, Account Management, the Director of Business Development will be responsible for qualifying new customers, developing relationships, and achieving pipeline and bookings targets. It is an individual contributor role.


What a typical day looks like:

1. Develop new strategic alliances with key customers.
2. Research and understand customers' business strategies, future product plans, and expansion activities to align Flex resources beneficially.
3. Collaborate with the Business Development and Finance teams to manage budgets.
4. Support current accounts in developing product roadmaps and delivering Flex solutions, including concept development, industrial design, manufacturing, and logistics.
5. Represent Flex's ways of working in interactions with internal and external contacts.


The experience we’re looking for:

* At least 5 years in Forward/Reverse Logistics, Repair, Refurb, Circular Economy, or related services.
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, or business.
* Progressive experience in account management or business development.
* Ability to work with internal teams and external clients to maximize mutual benefits.
* Knowledge of strategic selling techniques.
* Understanding of financial metrics, P&L, ROI, and ability to act on insights.
* Experience influencing senior management and key clients.
* Proven relationship-building skills with customers.
* Willingness to travel (~30%) and work non-traditional hours to coordinate across locations globally.
