Ensuring birds meet weight, quality, and welfare standards while working within budgets and targets. Providing relief cover for Farm Managers as needed, keeping farms running smoothly. Managing a small but efficient team, ensuring productivity, training, and motivation. Handling the logistics - transporting birds to veterinary services and delivering essential goods between farms. Keeping records up to date, ordering supplies, and ensuring weekly reports are submitted. Taking part in vaccinations, bird weighing, catching, and processing, ensuring accuracy and smooth operations. Maintaining farm security, safety, and hygiene, ensuring a clean and professional environment. Monitoring and adjusting ventilation, heating, feed, water, and lighting to create the best conditions for our birds.
