We’re looking for an engaged, collaborative, and commercially minded Account Manager to join our AEC (Architectural, Engineering & Construction) & Transport sectors. What you'll be doing

As an Account Manager / Customer Success Manager, you will:

1. Build trusted relationships with customers, helping them achieve success through GIS and acting as a strategic advisor.
2. Identify, qualify, negotiate, and close opportunities within existing accounts, ensuring proposals align with required margins.
3. Develop Customer Success Plans and recommend where GIS can deliver meaningful business improvements and maximise ROI.
4. Proactively seek, secure, and attend both scheduled and ad hoc customer meetings—virtually and in person.
5. Prepare and present compelling sales proposals tailored to customer needs.
6. Support customer retention by highlighting value, preserving spend, and identifying mutually beneficial growth opportunities.
7. Own customer issues where they arise and collaborate with colleagues across Esri UK to drive resolutions.
8. Work with Professional Services and Project Management teams to ensure projects are effectively scoped and resourced.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

9. Have solid knowledge of the AEC/Transport sector.
10. Have experience as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager/Consultant, or Business Development professional.
11. Put customer success and long term value at the centre of your approach.
12. Bring strong commercial awareness and understand how customers operate and make decisions.
13. Build lasting, trust based relationships and spot new opportunities within your accounts.
14. Ideally have some understanding of GIS, or are keen to learn how it solves complex challenges.
15. Are self-motivated, organised, and excited to be part of our growing AEC practice.
16. Possess excellent communication, facilitation, networking, and negotiation skills.

Location - This is a homebased role. You’ll need to travel to customer sites and may occasionally stay away from home.
