About the role
We're currently looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic ERP Security Analystto join our IT team based in Solihull, West Midlands. Flexible/Hybrid working available.
In this role you'll ensure effective, controlled and compliant security services as a key part of the team dedicated to managing ERP user administration and permissions.You'll have a lead role in the operation of key IT SOx responsibilities, including the management of Logical Access controls.In addition, you'll act as a deputy for the Senior ERP Security Analyst and be responsible for defining and maintaining controls within the SAP Security landscape and make improvements to ensure effective process operation, delivering prompt, compliant and right-first-time service to the business.
Main responsibilities
In this role you'll:
Build, configure, test, & support ERP security changes/developments
Provide security advice and guidance in all stages of IT project delivery
Promptly resolve security related incidents in the SAP systems estate
Establish & maintain an effective application level security framework
Support the Senior ERP Security Analyst in responding to IT audits including all regulatory compliance and liaison with both internal and external auditors
Lead the flawless execution of key SOx controls related to Logical Access in SAP and the preservation of Segregation of Duties.
Support the collation of software licence usage metrics and vendor data submissions
Be responsible for day-to-day security operations
Create and manage all SAP user and system accounts on the entire SAP systems estate
Ensure segregation of duties compliance across role and user accounts
Support continuous process improvement
Set an example for compliance with Internal Control processes and procedures
Act as a key contact point for and advisor to business SOx SAP role ownersExperience & qualifications
To be successful in this role you'll need:
Demonstrable experience in actively managing SAP users and system accounts on an entire SAP systems estate
To be educated to degree level or able to demonstrate the appropriate experience within an equivalent role
Possess the relevant security qualifications and training.
To be ITIL certified/trained
A developed understanding of SOx controls
To be an effective communicator, to both technical and non-technical audiences
To support innovative thinking
Be adept at defining & building system solutions from business requirements
To be able to create systems designs and manage their rigorous implementation
Developed problem analysis and solving skills
