We’re looking for a versatile and proactive Production Support person to join our team. This hybrid role involves supporting the workshop and production workflow through artworking, quoting, and print file preparation, with additional hands-on assistance in the workshop as needed. It’s an ideal opportunity for someone with design skills who enjoys variety and working in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Prepare artwork for print and production in line with job specs and brand guidelines
– Set up print files for wide-format printers, cutters, and other output devices
– Support quoting process by gathering job requirements, calculating costs, and generating estimates using our internal systems
– Liaise with clients to clarify artwork or job details where required
– Maintain organised file systems and ensure all artwork is production-ready
– Provide occasional hands-on assistance in the production workshop
– Coordinate with the production team to ensure smooth workflow and meet deadlines
– Assist with admin tasks such as job booking, material stock checks, and supplier liaison
About You
– Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator essential)
– Strong understanding of setting up artwork for large format print and signage production
– Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in artwork or job specs
– Good organisational and time management skills
– Comfortable with numbers and quoting basic jobs accurately
– Positive attitude and willingness to support across departments as needed
– Previous experience in signage, print, or a studio/production environment is desirable
– Knowledge of RIP software, cutting plotters, or printers is a bonus
– Ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
– Knowledge of materials used in sign and graphics production, an advantage
