The post holder will be a senior member of the team working with service users across the Strategic Service Units who have common and severe mental health issues. The purpose of this role is to:
1. Provide assessment and implement brief, evidence-based interventions for service users experiencing common, acute mental health and recovery needs, covering clusters 1-3, some of 4, 8, and 11.
2. Optimize the service users' ability to remain in the community and/or be cared for in the least restrictive environment, in line with the principles of recovery, social inclusion, and the 10 essential capabilities.
3. Support clinical governance, information collection, and audit at entry level.
