Job Title: Learning Support Assistant – SEND

We’re looking for a compassionate SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stanford-Le-Hope. This is a role where patience, empathy, and encouragement go a long way — and every small breakthrough feels huge.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Supporting pupils 1:1 and in class so they feel included and confident
2. ✨ Helping teachers put individual learning plans into action
3. Keeping lessons engaging and accessible for every child
4. Using positive behaviour strategies to de-escalate tricky moments
5. Working closely with teachers, parents, and SEN professionals
6. Creating a safe, nurturing classroom environment where children can thrive
What we’re looking for:
7. Experience supporting children with SEND (autism, ADHD, SEMH, or similar)
8. Calm, patient, and adaptable — you’ll be the steady hand when things get busy
9. Someone who can build trust quickly and celebrate every child’s progress
10. A valid DBS (or willingness to get one) and the right to work in the UK
