Mental Health Recovery Worker (Female Only) Location: 142 Dickenson Road, Manchester M14 5HT Working Hours: 37 hours per week, 9am-5pm (Comfortable working on a 6-day rota Monday-Saturday, and taking part in on-call duties (receive a day back in TOIL for Saturday's shifts)). Contract Type: Permanent Salary: £24,243 - £28,930 per annum Please note: The salary listed reflects the full earning potential for this role. About the Role We’re looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join our Women’s Supported Housing Service in Manchester. You’ll play a key role in helping women maintain their tenancies, develop life skills, and thrive in their community. At Waythrough, we put the people who use our services at the heart of everything we do -ensuring they are fully involved in decisions that shape their future. What You’ll Do Support women in developing personal recovery and support plans to achieve their goals and aspirations. Promote independence through practical help with daily living, tenancy management, budgeting, and personal development. Encourage access to education, employment, training, and leisure opportunities. Maintain accurate and confidential case notes using our IT systems. Liaise with GPs, local councils, and community organisations to ensure holistic support. Help promote the service within the local community. To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need to Be: Experienced in the mental health or social care field. Compassionate, consistent, and flexible in their approach. A great communicator who can build trust and rapport with people from all walks of life. Able to work independently and as part of a supportive team. Comfortable working on a 6-day rota Monday-Saturday, and taking part in on-call duties (receive a day back in TOIL if worked Saturday shift).
