We are looking for an experienced and organised Head Chef to join our Management Team and continue our success in delivering an exceptional standard of high volume, quality fresh food, served by an engaging, vibrant team.
Requirements
* A proven track record of delivering freshly prepared food in a high volume market.
* Experience in planning and delivering a function and wedding operation.
* Ability to lead a team of chefs, delivering quality food at high volume.
* Experience of delivering food operating standards to the required regulatory levels, competence in management of stock levels, ordering and health and safety.
* Knowledge of GP and wage percentage control.
* A willingness to work with senior colleagues in the decision-making process for menu development.
* Proven organisational ability and first class kitchen management skills.
At the interview stage, the successful candidate will need to use their previous experience/records to demonstrate an ability to recruit, train and develop an organised kitchen brigade.
You will be responsible for rota writing and shift management, shifts will therefore be varied but will include weekends and bank holidays. Full time – 5 shifts per week (45 hours)
