Overview
Room Leader / Supervisor
Contract: Permanent | Full-Time 8:30am–4:30pm
Salary: Up to £15 per hour (negotiable based on experience)
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise room staff on a daily basis
* Plan and deliver engaging EYFS activities
* Act as Key Person for a group of children
* Observe, assess, and track children\'s progress, reporting concerns to SENCO
* Maintain a safe, high-quality learning environment
* Support opening/closing procedures
* Liaise with SENCO, parents, and external agencies
* Implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) where required
* Delegate tasks and maintain high standards across the team
* Conduct health and safety checks and risk assessments
* Attend staff meetings, training, and nursery events
What We\'re Looking For
* Level 3 or above Early Years qualification (UK recognised – essential)
* Leadership and communication skills
* Strong EYFS and safeguarding knowledge
* Supervisory/senior practitioner experience (desirable)
* Professional, confident approach
Nursery Practitioner (Level 2/3)
Contract: Permanent | All Year Round
Hours:
• Full-time: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
Salary: £12.30 per hour (increase to £12.80 in April 2026) (based on experience & qualification)
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality care and education in line with EYFS
* Support children aged 0–5 with learning and development
* Create a safe, nurturing environment
* Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
* Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
* Work collaboratively within a supportive team
* Support daily routines including mealtimes and personal care
What We\'re Looking For
* Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised – essential)
OR
* Minimum 600 hours of documented UK nursery experience
* Previous nursery experience preferred
* Caring, reliable, professional approach
* Good understanding of EYFS and safeguarding
* Commitment to year-round hours
