What You'll Be Doing as a higher level teaching assistant:
1. Supporting children one-to-one and in small groups, helping them find their rhythm and thrive in the classroom.
2. Leading classes in the absence of the class teacher.
3. Leading learning activities that make every child feel seen, valued, and part of something special.
4. Working with pupils who have additional needs, offering patience, encouragement, and a bit of sparkle along the way.
5. Collaborating with teachers and support staff to create lessons that sing - inclusive, creative, and full of life.
6. Being that steady, uplifting presence every child deserves, especially on their toughest days.
About You:
7. You've got experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, or equivalent, and a real passion for helping children grow.
8. You bring warmth, humour, and a touch of creativity to everything you do.
9. You're confident leading groups and stepping up to teach when needed.
10. You believe in inclusion, kindness, and giving every child a fair chance to shine.
11. You're reliable, dedicated, and know how to keep the classroom atmosphere upbeat and inspiring.
