A friendly and inclusive primary school in Urmston is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team from January. This opportunity is offered in collaboration with Teaching Personnel, a trusted education recruitment partner.
About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting the class teacher and helping pupils thrive in a positive learning environment. Your responsibilities will include:
* Providing tailored one-to-one and small group support.
* Assisting with lesson planning, delivery, and assessment.
* Creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom atmosphere.
* Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL.
* Encouraging positive behaviour and contributing to classroom management.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and families.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
