Our client is a leading disputes practice in London and theyre seeking an associate to join their Commercial Litigation team.
Responsibilities:
You will work on a broad range of sophisticated matters, including:
* Major restructuring and insolvency-related disputes
* Claims against former directors and auditors of failed companies
* Complex cross-border insolvency disputes
* General commercial litigation
* Corporate M&A disputes
* Government and PFI contract disputes
* Professional negligence claims
* Regulatory and disciplinary proceedings
* Energy sector disputes
We are particularly interested in candidates with experience in large-scale class actions.
Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
* 2–5 years’ PQE in commercial litigation, ideally involving large and complex disputes
* (Candidates with slightly more or less experience will also be considered where competencies align with the role.)
* Strong drafting, negotiation, and project management skills
* Early-stage people management and business development capability
* Excellent academic credentials, including a minimum 2:1 degree (or equivalent)
