Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Vending Operative to join our team in Newark. As a Vending Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our vending machines are well-stocked, properly maintained, and providing excellent service to our customers.
* Restock vending machines with food, beverages, and other products on a regular schedule
* Collect and accurately count cash from vending machines
* Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of vending machines
* Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on vending equipment
* Track inventory levels and report any discrepancies or needs for restocking
* Process customer refunds and address any customer concerns or complaints
* Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and machine maintenance
* Collaborate with team members to optimize vending machine locations and product offerings
* Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Strong cash handling and basic math skills
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
* Proficiency in inventory management and record-keeping
* Proven problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
* Valid driver's license and clean driving record
* Flexibility to work various shifts based 4 on 4 off 20hrs, including evenings and weekends
* Physical stamina to stand, walk, and lift throughout the workday
* Previous experience in vending machine operations or retail is preferred
* Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
