You will be supporting pupils who may have experienced challenges in mainstream education, helping them to re-engage with learning, develop emotional regulation, and build confidence in a safe and structured environment.
The Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with SEMH needs Help manage behaviour positively, using a calm and consistent approach Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, tailored lessons Encourage personal development, social skills, and emotional wellbeing What We're Looking For: SEN Teaching Assistant A resilient, patient, and empathetic individual Strong communication and relationship-building skills A proactive and positive attitude Experience working with children or young people is desirable (SEN experience is a bonus, not essential) Backgrounds in care, youth work, sports coaching, or support work are highly transferable Why Work in a SEN / SEMH Setting? xxuwjjq Make a real impact
