About the role
The IS Senior Analyst - Web works within the Booker IS team, responsible for delivering effective, secure, and efficient digital systems to enhance customer satisfaction and profit. The role is part of the Web projects team, focusing on delivering projects and updates for our websites and apps.
The ideal candidate will have experience developing digital systems and web technology in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and will be enthusiastic about system enhancements, bug analysis, data analysis, and solving complex issues.
Key responsibilities
* Manage junior project team members, overseeing their performance and development.
* Monitor system KPIs.
* Support the delivery of the website/digital systems roadmap.
Requirements
* Previous experience in an IT or technical role, ideally at least 2 years.
* Practical experience with web technologies such as HTML, XML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript.
* Knowledge of PHP, including Twig templating, is desirable.
* Basic understanding of Linux commands, preferably Redhat.
* Experience using system performance tools like Datadog and Google Analytics.
* Proven experience with testing and issue management tools such as Jira.
* Service management skills, including troubleshooting and support provision.
* Knowledge of web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
