Site Engineer – Civils / Earthworks (Contract)
AlloaASAP (Week commencing 23 MarchInitial 3-month contract (likely extension)
A well-established civil engineering contractor is seeking a Site Engineer to support works on a civil engineering project.
Due to additional scope being awarded, the project team is delivering a new compound area and car park construction. This creates an opportunity for an engineer who can support the team with surveys, quantification and technical record keeping, while also assisting with developing layouts and drawings where designs are still evolving.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out site surveys and setting out for earthworks and compound construction
* Support quantification and measurement of works
* Maintain accurate site records and documentation
* Produce and amend AutoCAD drawings where required, supporting works that are currently undesigned
* Assist the team with planning and delivery of earthworks and infrastructure for a new compound and car park
* Work closely with the site team to ensure smooth delivery of this additional project scope
Requirements
* Experience working as a Site Engineer on civil engineering projects
* Background in earthworks or infrastructure works
* Proficient in AutoCAD
* Strong skills in surveying, measurement and site documentation
* Ability to work proactively and support a busy project team
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining a busy live infrastructure project where the team has recently been awarded additional works. While the initial commitment is 3 months, there is strong potential for the assignment to extend for the right person.
