We have a new permanent opportunity for a full-time Paralegal to join the Real Estate team in our Newbury office. The ideal candidate will preferably have previous paralegal experience working on matters in a legal property environment. The Role Your role within the team will include the following tasks: Attending client meetings and providing day-to-day client liaison To set up new files accurately on instructions from the fee earner Drafting and negotiating documents and correspondence. Dealing with varied transactions, including sales and purchases, leases, acting for landlords and tenants, options and conditional contracts, property development and infrastructure agreements Applications to the Land Registry Research Providing ad hoc support on real estate projects Progressing your own knowledge through webinars and training About you Preferably 2 years’ paralegal experience Educated to degree level with a strong academic record, you may also have completed your LPC or intend to so the LPC/SQE A keen eye for detail Strong organisational skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills Proven team player with demonstrable ability to build effective and trusting relationships with clients and colleagues We offer Salary: Competitive Office: Newbury Hours of work: 9.00am - 5.30pm Other Benefits: Flexible Leave (Holiday) Policy, pension, life assurance, medical health cash plan & discount portal with Virtual GP & wellbeing tools & advice.
