Temporary Cruise Passenger Car Drivers Wanted - Apply Now
Hourly Pay Rate: £12.25 to £12.75 (Depending on Shift worked).
Ad-hoc temporary shifts on weekdays and or weekends.
Start times 6am onwards, you could work 4 / 6 / 8 / 10-hours per shift. NO SHIFTS OR HOURS ARE GUARANTED, (you must be able to work the entire shift if booked).
Location: Portsmouth
Shifts can be any day of the week, and we give all drivers the opportunity to work each shift on a first come first serviced basis.
Role:
* Driving multiple cruise passenger cars from Car Park to Terminal, or from Terminal to Car Park, and any other compounds on site.
* Following the instructions given to you by the on-site supervisors.
* Parking each vehicle in their pre-determined locations, as indicated by your team leader / supervisor, in a safe and timely manner.
* Chauffeured to and from car parks by minibus when required.
* Driving cautiously and sensibly, to the highest standards, within the speed limits and regulations of the cruise terminal site, and public roads always.
* Informing your supervisor of any problems found regarding the vehicle you are responsible for.
Essential requirements due to the nature of the role:
* Must be at least 21 years old due to insurance purposes.
* Must have a full UK driving licence for a DVLA check to be completed.
* Must have photo ID due to security checks whilst working on-site.
* Must have no more than 6-points on your driving licence.
* Must have 12-months minimum UK driving experience.
Work Uniform Required for Shifts:
* Plain light blue or white collared shirt (long or short sleeves are fine).
* Plain black work trousers (no jeans, tracksuit or jogging bottoms are allowed).
* Safety shoe or safety boots, (must have steel toe caps).
* High viz vest (yellow or orange).
* Clothing to suit various outdoor weather conditions.
All candidates will be payrolled weekly through PAYE.
