Melton Short Breaks & Supported Living Services is a purpose-built short break centre, alongside 5 supported living bungalows, providing respite and supported living care for adults with learning disabilities, Autism, Physical disabilities, and Sensory impairments.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work as part of our team to provide person-centred care. We are looking for individuals who can help us deliver high-quality support to adults with learning differences in our Supported Living Service. Your responsibilities will include providing day-to-day support, assisting with personal care, promoting choice and control, and maximizing independence.
No previous formal experience in care is required; we value shared commitment to our core values, celebrating individuality and diversity. We will provide the necessary training during work hours and support your development with mentoring and coaching. You will work in accordance with Leicestershire County Council's Employee Code of Conduct and Skills for Care Code of Conduct for Adult Social Care Workers. We will cover training costs and the cost of the DBS enhanced check for regulated activities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Demonstrating a commitment to high-quality care, support, and independence;
* Being flexible to meet the needs of a 24/7 service, including working weekends and bank holidays;
* Writing clear and concise records;
* Assisting with moving and handling using available equipment.

Salary: Grade 6, £25,995 - £26,409 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), equivalent to £13.46 - £13.68 per hour.
Working Hours: 20.5 hours per week, with flexibility to participate in a rota including weekends and bank holidays between 7 am and 10 pm.
