Overview
We are looking for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our team for deliveries and collections across London. This is a perfect role for a skilled driver who enjoys navigating the city and providing excellent customer service.
As you will be interacting with a diverse range of clients, we require a candidate who is fluent in English and also speaks either Spanish or Portuguese.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving: Safely operating a company van to various locations within London and the M25.
* Customer Interaction: Acting as the face of the company, communicating clearly with customers at drop-off and collection points.
* Logistics: Assisting with the loading and unloading of goods, ensuring all items are secured correctly.
* Vehicle Care: Performing daily vehicle safety checks and maintaining the cleanliness of the van.
* Navigation: Planning efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals while adhering to London's traffic regulations (ULEZ, Congestion Charges).
Requirements
* Licence: Full UK Driving Licence (Category B) with no more than 6 penalty points.
* Experience: Proven experience driving large vans (e.g., Ford Transit, Mercedes Sprinter) in a busy city environment.
* Languages: Must be fluent in English AND either Spanish or Portuguese.
* Compliance: Right to Work in the UK.
* Attributes: Punctual, polite, and physically fit for manual handling/loading duties.
* Preferably based in West London.
