We are investing in our Commissioning service, particularly focused on sourcing older persons care home placements and data analysis. We are looking to recruit a Commissioning Officer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.
On a day-to-day basis, you will provide commissioning and brokerage advice regarding internally and externally provided social care services for Ceredigion County Council. You will liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including providers, the Health Board, and care management teams.
You will also ensure an effective and efficient brokerage service and arrange delivery of external provider services in a cost-effective manner that meets the specified requirements and assessed needs.
We are seeking an individual who:
1. is committed to delivering quality services through contractual arrangements to ensure value for money,
2. can prioritize personal workload effectively,
3. can quickly learn new areas of knowledge and maintain effective record/reporting systems.
We welcome applications from non-Welsh speakers. All successful applicants requiring support to learn or improve their Welsh language skills will be offered funded lessons during work hours to help reach the desired standard.
