Job Title: HR Advisor
Our client is seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join their team at their site in Egham. This is a varied and busy role involving extensive interaction with line managers. Key responsibilities include providing HR advice, managing onboarding, compliance, payroll, and staff visas. You will work closely with and be supported by their central HR team.
Responsibilities include:
1. HR Advisory and Employee Relations:
2. Build effective and trusting relationships with staff at all levels.
3. Deliver HR guidance and support to managers and staff on policies, processes, and systems.
4. Provide advice on employment relations issues such as sickness, grievances, disciplinaries, and performance management, escalating complex cases to the Senior HR Business Partner.
5. Support managers with performance management, including setting objectives and conducting appraisals.
6. Identify and facilitate training and development opportunities.
7. Assist in developing and delivering HR policy workshops for line managers.
8. Produce and distribute management information reports.
9. Oversee the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all checks and documentation are completed thoroughly and on time.
10. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, addressing discrepancies promptly.
11. Support the HR Operations Manager with report preparation.
12. Ensure all personnel and HRIS files are compliant and current.
13. Collaborate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
Qualifications and Experience:
* CIPD Level 5 or equivalent qualification.
* Experience providing generalist HR advice on employment terms, policies, and employee relations.
* Knowledge of UK employment law, safeguarding, and immigration processes.
* Experience with payroll systems and processes.
* Proficiency in HR software and MS Office.
* Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
