About the RoleHays Education is currently recruiting for an experienced Teaching Assistant within a weing and supportive school. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting pupils’ learning and development.The successful candidate will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the classroom, provide 1:1 or small group intervention where required, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Supporting pupils in the classroom, including 1:1 and small group work
2. Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
3. Supporting pupils with additional learning needs
4. Promoting positive behaviour and engagement
5. Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment
Requirements
6. Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant is essential
7. A qualified Teaching Assistant ( Level 2 or Level 3) is beneficial but not essential
8. A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
9. Strongmunication skills and a proactive approach
10. Ability to work full time andmit to the role
