We are looking for an Environmental Sustainability Advisor to join our Building team in Cambridge and London. This will be a Hybrid role supporting and advising on two notable Building projects, 7 Millbank based in Westminster and Botanic Place project based in Cambridge. The successful candidate will be required on-site four days a week, split in between these two projects.

This is a key role in supporting the roll out of the Skanska UK Environment Strategy, whilst promoting the pursuit of excellence and continuous improvement of Skanska Environment, Sustainability and Community Relations performance through construction.

What you'll do:

1. Assist in the development and implementation, of Construction Environmental Management Plans, Site Waste Management Plans and site specific control measures
2. Support project teams, including the production of client reports and external liaison where relevant
3. Supervise and mentor the development of project Environmental Coordinators
4. Assist in the development and delivery of suitable environmental and sustainability training for all project staff
5. Undertake environmental audits and inspections, both internal and external, including suppliers and waste contractors
6. Support the delivery of BREEAM/LEED/CEEQUAL/WELL certification on projects including the assimilation of monthly data
7. Be familiar with whole life carbon assessment and associated embodied carbon calculation
8. Represent and promote the Environment Department in meetings, workshops, management reviews and forums, both internal and external

What you'll bring to the role:

9. Degree level in appropriate Environmental discipline (desired)
10. Construction Industry Experience (desired)
11. Moderate IT skills
12. Relevant CSCS Card
13. BREEAM AP or equivalent
14. WELL AP or equivalent
