HR Partnerships Manager | Connecting & Supporting HR Professionals across Cambridgeshire & Peterborough
As a PA to the Junior Bursar you will be working for one of Cambridge's most historic and prestigious colleges, providing high-level administrative support to the Junior Bursar and ensuring day-to-day operations run smoothly.
Benefits
* Excellent benefits: free lunch on-site, generous double-matched pension, 25 days annual leave
* Hours: 36.25 per week, with some flexibility on start/finish times
Responsibilities
* Acting as the right-hand person to the Junior Bursar, managing a busy and complex inbox with speed and accuracy
* Handling a wide range of administrative and organisational tasks, and being trusted to run with the tasks with minimal supervision
* Coordinating with the Committee Co-ordinator and wider team to ensure meetings, committees, and projects are managed seamlessly
* Acting as the first point of contact in the office; greeting visitors and handling enquiries with professionalism
What we’re looking for
* Experience: Previous EA or PA experience at senior level, or a highly senior administrator role. Experience within an education or academic environment would be ideal, but is not essential
* Resilience: Thick-skinned and confident – the Junior Bursar has a direct communication style and needs someone who can handle that without missing a beat
* Communication: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people at all levels
* Organisation: Proven ability to prioritise and manage a high-volume workload with accuracy and discretion
If you’re an experienced PA or EA who thrives in a fast-paced, high-responsibility role and you’re excited by the idea of working in one of Cambridge's most historic colleges, we’d love to hear from you.
