Remuneration

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join us as we enhance our infrastructure, systems, and processes following the creation of Optoma Holding in the UK. This role connects our users with our outsourced IT partner and the IT systems we deploy, supporting various environments as needed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform routine network maintenance, backups, security measures, user account management, and logging.
2. Test and install new software, hardware, and peripherals as appropriate.
3. Provide second-line support.
4. Maintain networks, hardware, and software within your training and competence.
5. Monitor repair logs and coordinate necessary actions.
6. Check and maintain peripheral equipment such as scanners, printers, whiteboards, and projectors.
7. Maintain inventories of equipment.
8. Assist with procurement to ensure value for money.
9. Support teaching and learning through technical assistance, especially during equipment malfunctions.
Candidate Specification
You will work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting IT initiatives and projects, communicating effectively, and contributing to IT infrastructure design, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud environments. This role offers hands-on experience across various IT areas.

7. Support users with laptop, desktop, and printer issues.
8. Support and administer Office 365.
9. Support networking devices such as DHCP, Wi-Fi, routers, and broadband.
10. Support Windows and desktop software, including Microsoft Office.
11. Have a basic understanding of cloud concepts.
12. Experience in a similar role is preferred.
Essential
* Assist with backups, restores, and disaster recovery.
* Monitor hardware/system performance and tune accordingly.
* Support system/software/user maintenance and documentation.
* Set up administrator and service accounts.
* Install system-wide software.
* Ensure smooth, secure operation of multi-user systems.
* Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or CompTIA A+ are a plus.
