This company are a well-known multi-million turnover construction business. They are a small close-knit team looking for a Management Accountant to join on a 9 month temporary position. Job Description
The Management Accountant duties include:
3. Production of monthly management accounts (month-end typically completed within 4 working days) * General accounts production and financial reporting
4. Preparation of weekly statistics, including reporting
5. Assisting the finance function through a structured 4-4-5 accounting calendar
6. Working primarily within COINS (construction accounting software)
7. Attending finance meetings as required and contributing to continuous improvement within the team
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
8. Immediate or short-notice period
9. Part-qualified accountant - studier or strong QBE
10. Experience in management accounting and month-end processes
11. Construction or project-based accounting experience desirable
12. Experience using COINS is advantageous
13. Strong Excel skills (e.g. VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables)
14. Methodical, organised, and proactive in approach
15. Someone who is happy to put forward ideas and improvements
16. Comfortable working in a small team environment
