Overview
For April 2026 or soon thereafter, we are looking to appoint a Year 7 Transition Lead. The successful candidate will join us for the Trinity Term to work alongside and shadow the current pastoral team, ahead of formally taking up the full Year 7 Transition Lead and Head of Year responsibilities from September 2026.
Employment Details
Full‑time, term‑time only position: 8 am – 6 pm. Non‑teaching role.
* Actual term‑time only salary: £20,883.00 gross per annum (FTE £26,486.00 gross per annum).

* Accreditation: NACE, British Council (International Schools Award); 2025 shortlisted as Independent Girls’ School of the Year.
Responsibilities
* Shadow the current pastoral team during the Trinity Term to gain familiarity with the transition process.
* Progressively assume full Year 7 Transition Lead duties and Head of Year responsibilities from September 2026.
* Lead and support a motivated, forward‑thinking staff team.
* Maintain safety, wellbeing and academic progress for Year 7 pupils.
Qualifications & Expectations
* Passionate and enthusiastic dedication to the wellbeing and safety of children.
* Ability to inspire and challenge young people to develop into highly effective, independent learners.
* Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS and barred list check.
* Exemption from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975, 2013 and 2020.
