CNC Miller / Toolmaker Wanted!!
The Best Connection are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC MILLER/TOOLMAKER to join a well established precision engineering company based in Aston, Birmingham.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to secure a temporary to permanent position with a well-established company after a successful temp period.
You will be involved in the manufacture, modification, and repair of a wide variety of tooling and precision components.
Key Responsibilities:
* CNC milling using XYZ machines
* Toolmaking for jigs, fixtures, and production tooling
* One-off and small batch precision components
* Tool repair, maintenance, and modification
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a Toolmaker or CNC Miller in a toolroom environment
* Strong CNC milling experience (XYZ controls preferred)
* Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
* Experience with one-off and bespoke work (not just production machining)
* Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset
Hours of work:
* Monday - Thursday 7.30am-4.00pm, Friday 7.30am - 2.30pm
Pay rate:
* Salary dependant on experience
* Higher pay rate achieved with relevant experience
