The Role We are looking for a dynamic and hands on Operations Manager to lead and support our pubs across Stockport. Reporting directly to the Directors, youll play a key role in upholding our core values, ensuring operational excellence, and driving both financial and team performance. Key Responsibilities Champion and uphold Almond Family Pubs Core Values in all aspects of operations Ensure smooth and efficient execution across all pub operations Regularly visit all pubs with a visible, hands-on leadership style Collaborate with the People Manager to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams Work closely with the Directors on a variety of ad hoc initiatives, including support for new site openings Identify learning and development opportunities and deliver engaging training sessions in partnership with the People Team Create and execute tailored sales strategies for each site through business, community, and creative initiatives Monitor and deliver against key performance indicators including NPS, labour cost control, and profitability Actively manage and respond to guest feedback to ensure continuous improvement Provide in-depth reporting and analysis on pub performance, covering financial, operational, and people metrics Partner with the Operations Chef to maintain strong alignment between front and back of house, ensuring shared goals and smooth daily operations About You Were looking for a leader who is both strategic and operational, with a love for hospitality and a sharp eye for detail. You need a commercial edge and an eye for maximising every profit opportunity. Experience managing high volume bars, with a strong focus on operational flow, efficiency, and a deep-rooted passion for the craft of bartending.
