Danielle Group is one of the UK’s largest footwear importers, supplying Made-to-Order footwear to supermarkets, high street retailers and online brands.

We’ve built strong long-term relationships across the industry and a reliable factory network in the Far East. Our focus is simple: design good product, deliver it well, and be easy for retailers to work with.

We are now looking for a senior commercial person to help grow the business by bringing in new retail customers and developing existing accounts.

This role will suit someone who already has strong relationships with buyers and knows how the retail footwear world works.

The Role

This is a sales-led role focused on introducing new accounts and growing existing accounts within the business.

You will be responsible for building new customer relationships, developing existing ones, and turning opportunities into long-term business.

A big part of the role is using your existing network and industry knowledge to open doors and bring new retailers into the Danielle Group customer base.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Bringing your network of retail contacts and turning them into new business opportunities
* Opening new accounts with supermarkets, fashion retailers and online brands
* Managing and growing relationships with existing customers
* Leading customer meetings, product presentations and range discussions
* Negotiating prices and finalising orders
* Working with our internal design, sourcing and QC teams to deliver orders smoothly
* Keeping an eye on retail trends and spotting new opportunities in the market

What We’re Looking For

* Strong experience selling into retailers within footwear, fashion or related categories
* A solid network of buyer contacts
* A track record of bringing in new accounts and growing revenue
* Good understanding of Far East sourcing and factory production
* Someone who is confident dealing with buyers and senior retail teams
* Commercially minded and comfortable negotiating deals
* Self-driven and able to manage your own accounts and opportunities

We would be particularly interested in candidates with international retail contacts, as we are looking to grow our overseas customer base.
