An exciting opportunity has arisen for Systems & Verifications Engineers to join Rolls-Royce Submarines.
Our Systems Engineering and Verification Engineers are responsible for ensuring oversight of our products to meet business, customer and regulatory requirements. This is an integration role where you will work to enable all engineering teams through coaching and support to successfully develop robust, verified engineering solutions against robust validated customer requirements.
At Rolls-Royce Submarines we support the Royal Navy as the technical authority to the UK Ministry of Defence for naval reactor plants. We are also growing our submarine and nuclear sector capabilities.

Hybrid working is a way in which our people can balance their time between the office, home or another remote location. As a minimum we're all expected to attend the workplace for collaboration and other specific reasons, on average three days per week.
Set the Systems Engineering and Verification approach for an Engineering Programme through the relevant management plans.
Ensure sufficient rigor is put into requirements validation and verification, to remove technical risk.
Manage the creation of substantiation evidence, clearance/acceptance documentation that meets the demand for the project.
Be the point of contact within the project to support and coach the team regarding Systems Engineering, Validation and Verification activities, driving the right V&V behaviours within the project.

Degree level in Engineering or equivalent.
Have a strong understanding of Systems Engineering.
Experience in the Nuclear industry is preferred but not essential.
Experience of working with relevant SE software applications eg DOORS / CAMEO

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.
