Are you an experienced social work professional looking for your next challenge? We're on the lookout for a Senior Practice Lead (Grade 11) to join a supportive and high-performing team in Cheshire West.
✅ About the Role:
You'll provide professional expertise and support to children's social workers and other professionals working with:
1. 👨👩👧👦 Children in Need
2. 🛡️ Child Protection
3. ⚖️ Pre-Proceedings & Care Proceedings
You will also:
4. Supervise and mentor family support workers and social work staff
5. Manage a small complex caseload
6. Promote evidence-based practice using tools like Research in Practice & C4EO
7. Support professional development across the team
8. Maintain high-quality case work in line with Cheshire West's standards
🧠 What You'll Need:
9. Minimum 5 years post-qualified experience
10. Strong background in Duty/Assessment, CIN & CP/Legal work
11. Social Work England registration 🪪
12. Recent references 📄
13. Ability to work honestly and collaboratively with families and partner agencies
