This is a permanent, full-time job offer based on-site in Coleraine, Northern Ireland.
Lead the warehouse & service team to ensure they are engaged and high performing with a focus on problem solving and teamwork.
Build trust through effective leadership and the skilled application of people management processes and open 2-way communications.
Key responsibilities
1. Induct new members into the team.
2. Build team skills through skills assessment, training, feedback, and support.
3. Maintain the well-being, engagement, and performance of each team member through effective coaching, feedback and holding to account .
4. Manage on-going performance of direct reports.
5. Identify those who have the interest and ability to progress into bigger or different roles and facilitate this through agreed procedures.
6. Manage grievance and disciplinary issues as required with the support of HR as necessary.
Qualifications and skills
7. Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams and building strong cross functional relationships.
8. Proven ability to manage a variety of tasks within a fast-moving, customer focused working environment.
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required, with the ability to work collaboratively with managers at all levels.
10. SAP experience (preferrable) or any other ERP system.
11. Full UK Driving License.
12. GCSE or Equivalent educated.
13. Proficient in MS Office.
14. Proficient written, numerical and verbal skills.
15. Awareness of HSE standards.
16. Focus on driving continuous improvement.
17. HACCP.
18. Warehouse professional qualification.
19. Appreciation of Food Safety Systems.
20. HSE awareness training.
