Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Business Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and management skills, with a proven track record of supervising teams effectively. As a Business Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring that business objectives are met while fostering a positive work environment.
Responsibilities
* Supervise and lead a team of employees, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental goals.
* Develop and implement business strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
* Monitor performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.
* Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial planning to ensure the sustainability of the business.
* Foster a collaborative environment by promoting teamwork and open communication among staff members.
* Identify areas for improvement within operations and implement changes as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.
* Bank Reconciliations
* Processing internal reports to calculate correct Gross Pay for Employees, and calculating hours/overtime for bank staff
* Adjustments to salary (sick leave, annual leave, joined/left halfway through month, maternity leave, paternity leave, unpaid leave)
* Entering Key Information (start date, leave date, pension scheme, employee payroll number, address)
* Sending information to Payroll Bureau
* Liaising with Payroll Bureau to ensure correct payslip is produced (correct amount, Tax Code, NI Code, Pension Contributions, uploading of payslip to employee)
* Uploading payment for Payroll
* Monthly Statement/Management Accounts Processing
* Approval Max- Adding 100 + invoice per month.
* Weekly Payment Runs - Creating/Authorising/Checking/Uploading Payment to Bank/Sending Remittances
* Monthly Payroll Processing
* Email Queries
* NHS Pension Annual Admin required (SD55/SSGP Forms) and queries linked to Staff on Payroll
* Month end Journals
* FYE Process - Liaising with Accountants, Finalising End of Year Management Accounts, Queries - such as checking for missing income/expenses, and chasing with PCSE
* Raising invoices to ICB and Third Party on behalf of Hayes wick PCN.
* Purchase Invoices Processing
* Sales Invoices Processing
* Placing Orders
* Preparing Salary Data for PCSE ARRS Claims
* PCN Meetings
* Chasing Invoices with key missing information and dealing with invoice queries from suppliers/customers
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory or management role is essential.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on findings.
* A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong critical thinking abilities.
* Relevant qualifications in business management or a related field would be advantageous but not mandatory.
