Are you passionate about technology and problem-solving? We’re looking for an IT Technician to join a busy public sector organisation, supporting essential ICT systems across Northern Ireland. This is your chance to work on Service Desk operations, troubleshootplex issues, and contribute to projects that make a real impact. If you have experience with Microsoft technologies, Help Desk systems, and hardware/software support, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
1. Deliver and maintain a wide range of ICT systems.
2. Provide Service Desk support, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
3. Manage Help Desk Management Systems and IT asset inventory.
4. Assist with installation, testing, and maintenance of hardware/software.
5. Participate in IT projects, website and intranet development.
6. Join the IT on-call rota to ensure continuity of service.
Essential Criteria
7. Qualifications & ExperienceDegree in ICT + 1 year experience ORHND in ICT + 2 years experience OR4 years relevant experience without formal qualification.
8. Technical SkillsMicrosoft desktop applications & Windows Server 2003.Help Desk Management Systems.Intranet/Internet portal technologies.
9. Other RequirementsFull driving licence or access to transport.Ability to participate in IT on-call rota.
