Health & Safety Manager – Data Centre & Pharmaceutical Projects

About the Role
As Health & Safety Manager, you’ll be responsible for driving HSE excellence on complex, fast-paced projects within data centre and pharmaceutical environments. You’ll work closely with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure full compliance with regulatory standards while fostering a culture of safety from design through delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead HSE strategy and implementation on active sites
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
* Develop and deliver training, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
* Monitor compliance with project-specific safety requirements, local laws, and client standards
* Liaise with client HSE teams, consultants, and regulatory bodies
* Champion a proactive safety culture, supporting continuous improvement initiatives
* Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation for audits and inspections
What We’re Looking For
* Minimum 7+ years’ experience in Health & Safety management
* Proven background in data centre and pharmaceutical project environments
* NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent); IOSH/Chartered Membership desirable
* In-depth knowledge of CDM regulations, construction safety, and high-spec cleanroom/tech environments
* Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills
* Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, high-performance setting
* Experience with multinational clients and Tier 1 contractors
