Job Description: Business Development Manager - Defence Engineering Services SEGULA Technologies is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the Defence Engineering Services sector. This role involves developing and executing strategies to win new business, managing the full sales cycle, and maintaining strong client relationships.
Responsibilities
Understand market and customer needs, and build strategies to address them.
Utilize direct sales, marketing, and thought leadership to generate leads and interest.
Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers within client organizations, understanding their needs and challenges.
Create compelling sales pitches and value propositions tailored to customer requirements.
Engage with all levels within client organizations, from engineering managers to directors.
Write proposals and responses to RFQs, demonstrating customer knowledge and positioning SEGULA as the supplier of choice.
Manage the entire sales cycle, including CRM management and reporting.
Follow up on projects to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
Leverage recruitment experience and existing customer networks to support business growth.
Candidate Profile
Experience in recruitment within a well-known customer network.
Several years of engineering experience and seeking a new challenge.
Existing career in business development with an established network of customers.
Self-starter with a positive attitude and energetic approach.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset and well-organized.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced international environment.
Valid driving license and willingness to travel within Europe and the UK.
Additional Information Training will be provided. Aptitude and attitude are key for success in this role.
