Job Description
The SAP RISE Administration & Security Specialist is responsible for the effective management, configuration, and security of the SAP environment. This role involves providing technical expertise in SAP system administration, ensuring system security, monitoring performance, and supporting SAP applications with a focus on security protocols, compliance, and risk management. The specialist will work closely with SAP functional and technical teams to ensure smooth operation, continuous improvement, and data protection across SAP platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
1. SAP RISE Administration:
* Configure and maintain the SAP environments across cloud and hybrid platforms.
* Monitor and manage system performance, uptime, and availability for the SAP landscape.
* Support SAP application and database systems, ensuring proper integration between SAP modules.
* Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, including those related to connectivity, performance, and configurations.
* Analyze, develop, and maintain data architectures and process models within SAP.
1. Security Management:
* Implement and manage security protocols to protect SAP applications and sensitive business data.
* Configure and enforce access control policies, user roles, and permissions within the SAP environment.
* Regularly support audits to ensure compliance with security policies, standards, and industry regulations.
* Monitor and respond to security alerts, managing vulnerabilities and threats to the SAP system.
2. User & Access Management:
* Administer user roles, profiles, and authorizations in SAP systems.
* Ensure users are properly assigned to their respective security roles and access is appropriate.
* Investigate and resolve any user access issues related to SAP systems.
* Collaborate with HR and business teams to align user access with organizational changes.
3. Continuous Improvement:
* Continuously evaluate and optimize SAP configurations and security practices.
* Recommend and implement improvements to the overall security and administration of SAP environments.
* Stay up to date with SAP product updates, security patches, and industry trends to ensure the best practices are followed.

Experience/Education/Skills
* Knowledge & Experience:
o Experience in SAP administration and security, preferably with SAP S/4HANA or SAP RISE.
o Proven experience in managing SAP systems in cloud or hybrid environments.
o Knowledge of SAP RISE infrastructure, Private cloud services, Cloud Analytics, BTP and system architecture.
o Familiarity with SAP Basis, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, and related SAP technologies.
o Experience with MS SQL and SAP Hana database administration.
o Experience in configuring and managing security roles, authorizations, and profiles in SAP.
o Knowledge of SAP Role creation and development including Fiori and SaaS solution security management as well as traditional SAP ECC / S/4 HANA roles and access management.
o Knowledge of GRC tools and modules related to access controls and monitoring.
