We're supporting a well-known firm of chartered accountants based in Tunbridge Wells seeking an experienced Corporate Tax Senior to join their growing team. The successful candidate will develop effective relationships with a diverse client portfolio. The role offers a hybrid working model, combining home and office work, with the opportunity to work from home two days a week. There is excellent potential for career progression.
Key responsibilities include:
* Preparing and reviewing Corporate Tax returns
* Handling enquiries from HMRC
* Contacting clients to gather information
* Identifying tax planning opportunities
* Working on research projects
* Addressing queries regarding tax filings or payments from HMRC
* Collaborating with Partners to advise on R&D tax relief, loss relief, capital allowances, group reorganisations, and employee share schemes
Requirements
* Experience in corporate tax within UK accountancy practice
* ATT qualified or studying for ACA, ACCA, or CTA
* Experience with specific tax software is advantageous
* Strong relationship-building skills and corporate awareness
* Highly organized with attention to detail
* Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Benefits
* Salary: £40,000 - £50,000, negotiable based on experience
