Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our team in our specialist palliative care inpatient unit in Coventry as either a Staff Nurse or Senior Staff Nurse, depending on experience level. This role will help our patients and their loved ones to get on top of difficult symptoms, deal with any physical pain and reduce emotional distress. We provide an in-house training programme to support your professional development, including progression opportunities. This is a part time position (30 hours per week), typically day shifts, unless you would like to work nights (if so, an initial supernumerary period of day shifts would be required). Shifts are either 7.5 hours with a half-hour break (early or late short day shifts) or 11.5 hours with a 1-hour break (day or night shifts). If you would like set days rather than a variable pattern, the hiring manager would be happy to discuss this at interview and see if it is currently feasible within the rota.
